As the New Year rolls around, there are many exciting developments occurring for us! First and foremost, we’d like to announce that after playing with several wonderful cellists, we have found the final full-time member of Harpeth Rising: Maria Di Meglio! We have be been playing with her since this summer, and we couldn’t imagine a better fit. She inspires us musically and personally and we are so grateful that she has joined us in our continuing musical adventure! We are about to go into the studio to record a new album, consisting entirely of the songs of Jordana’s father, “Wildman Green aka David Greenberg” the acclaimed writer of “Abraham” from our first album and several songs on “Dead Man’s Hand.” The new album will feature not only his songs, but also vocals and guitar. We are so excited and proud to be making this album and can’t wait to share it with all of you!
Our brand new tour van, a 1993 Ford E150 Conversion Van (who we have at least temporarily nicknamed “Van-GO”) will be taking us all over the country in 2012, so WATCH OUT!
